At Aesthetically Savvy, every filler treatment is personally administered by Savannah, DNP, FNP-C, a board-certified nurse practitioner and the practice’s owner, who has been performing injectables since 2018. Every treatment plan starts with a consultation so you understand exactly what filler is right for your goals, your face, and your budget — before you commit to anything.
request an appointmentWhat Dermal Fillers Actually Do
Dermal fillers are gel-based injectables, most commonly made from hyaluronic acid — a substance your body already produces naturally to keep skin plump and hydrated. As you age, your natural hyaluronic acid production slows down, which is a big part of why cheeks hollow, lips thin, and lines deepen around the nose and mouth.
Filler injections replace that lost volume directly. Unlike Botox, which relaxes muscles to soften movement-related wrinkles, fillers add structure and fullness. That’s why the two are often used together: Botox for expression lines, fillers for volume loss.
Results are visible immediately after treatment, and most patients see the final settled result within one to two weeks, once any minor swelling resolves.
Areas We Treat

Every face ages differently, so your treatment plan is built around what you actually need — not a one-size-fits-all package. Common treatment areas include:
- Lips — added volume, definition, and symmetry, from a subtle enhancement to a fuller shape
- Cheeks — restored volume and lift for a more contoured, rested appearance
- Nasolabial folds — softened lines running from the nose to the corners of the mouth
- Marionette lines — smoothed lines running from the mouth to the chin
- Under-eye hollows — reduced shadowing and a less tired look
- Jawline and chin — added definition and improved facial balance
During your consultation, we’ll look at your face as a whole and recommend the areas that will make the most visible difference — sometimes that’s one area, sometimes it’s a combination.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Consultation. We’ll talk through your goals, review your medical history, and discuss which filler type fits your skin and the results you want. This is also when we’ll go over pricing and answer any questions — no pressure, no upsell.
Treatment. A topical numbing cream is applied to keep you comfortable. Most fillers also contain lidocaine, which helps minimize discomfort during injection. The treatment itself typically takes 15 to 45 minutes, depending on how many areas you’re having treated.
Recovery. You can return to normal activities the same day. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites is common and usually resolves within a few days to a week. We’ll send you home with clear aftercare instructions, including what to avoid in the first 24–48 hours.
How Long Do Results Last?
Most hyaluronic acid fillers last 6 to 18 months, depending on the product used, the area treated, and how quickly your body metabolizes it. Lip filler tends to break down faster than filler placed in the cheeks, for example. We’ll talk through realistic timelines for your specific treatment plan during your consultation, and let you know when a touch-up appointment makes sense.

Are You a Good Candidate?
Dermal fillers are a good option if you’re seeing early-to-moderate volume loss and want a non-surgical way to refresh your appearance. During your consultation, we’ll also flag if fillers aren’t the right fit — for example, if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection near the treatment area, or have certain allergies. We’d rather tell you honestly if another treatment (or no treatment) makes more sense than sell you something that isn’t right for you.

We use a gentle technique to inject dermal fillers beneath the surface of your skin. The best dermal fillers for you depend on the results you want to see. Injectable fillers add natural-looking results and reverse the effects of aging.

What To Expect From Dermal Fillers Treatment?
During the procedure, your provider will determine the areas of treatment. Then, your provider injects the dermal filler into your skin and massages the area to ensure even distribution, which reduces the chance of swelling.
How Long Does The Dermal Fillers Result Last?
The result depends on the filler product, the area of treatment, and the patient. You’ll see the effects of your treatment after two to three weeks of settling time and just one session. The results last from six months to two years depending on the filler.
